Bulgarian bulk apple pie is unusual and delicious

Delicacy on apple salvation. Well, how in apple salvation not to please relatives with delicacy from apples. Here is an unusual and very interesting cake, which is prepared very simply.

Ingredients for the shape of 20-22 cm:

1 kg of peeled apples (apples are better to take juicy, sweet, or sweet and sour),
1 cup (160 g) of semolina,
1 cup (130 g) flour,
1 cup (210 g) sugar,
a pinch of salt,
2 teaspoons (10 g) baking powder,
10 g of vanilla sugar,
150 g of butter.

Put the butter in the freezer to make it easier to work with.

In a bowl, mix sugar, flour, semolina, salt, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Now prepare the filling – rub the apples on a large grater, if they darken quickly – sprinkle with lemon juice and mix. Collect the cake: At the bottom of the form rub 30 grams of butter and level, on top of 130 grams of the flour mixture, and level again. Next, divide the apples into 3 parts and lay one of them in a form, leveling and slightly compacted.

Then repeat the layers of flour mixture and apples (we have a total of 4 layers of flour and 3 layers of apples). Rub the cake on top with 120 grams of butter and flatten. Preheat the oven to 170 – 180 degrees, and bake an apple pie for 45 – 60 minutes. Baking time depends on the diameter of your mold and the characteristics of the oven.

After cooking, leave to cool for half an hour in the form and that’s it!
