FEELING UNWELL AND HAVING AN UGLY FIGURE CAN BE THE RESULT OF IMPROPER BREAKFASTS

Too many people make these three mistakes at breakfast, spoiling their health and figure, says Australian nutrition expert Susie Barrell, informs Ukr.Media.

The expert urged not to make the following mistakes:

Breakfast starts too late

According to Barrell, it is much more useful to eat breakfast early to maintain a slim figure – it is better if you keep in mind the activity of metabolism. The expert said that the period from nine to ten in the morning is not the most appropriate time for the first meal of the day.

The caloric content of coffee is underestimated

Barrell says that most people prefer not to drink coffee, but coffee drinks – such as latte macchiato or cappuccino. But such drinks, which consist of various components, including milk, cream, sugar, or other sweeteners, contain a lot of calories. “Honest” coffee from ground beans and water can be an effective activator of metabolism, but these types of drinks based on it do not have this property – on the contrary, their enthusiasm contributes to weight gain.

The body does not get enough protein

Susie Barrell recommends eating protein-rich foods in the morning. Foods high in carbohydrates, such as toast or muesli, do not saturate the body until dinner – they contribute to fluctuations in blood sugar levels, which cause severe hunger, increased appetite.

“Make sure you eat at least twenty grams of protein for breakfast. An excellent choice would be, for example, two eggs, Greek yogurt, or a protein shake, “- advised a nutrition expert.
