Apple jam is quite easy to prepare. Apple jam is one of the favorite desserts for many people.

You can always buy this product in the store, but it is much more pleasant and practical to cook apple jam on your own because it is quite simple. In addition, you can always delight yourself on long winter evenings with a jar of delicious and homemade delicacy. Also, the advantage of homemade jam will be that you always know what products were used during its preparation.
apples – about 2 kilograms;
sugar – 1 kg;
water – 1 glass;
beets – 1 piece;
carrots – 1 pc.
First, you need to wash the apples, wet them with paper towels, and remove the core. Next, you need to cut them into small pieces. Then the apples are folded into a saucepan and a glass of water is added to them. Put the pan on medium heat until the mixture boils, then reduce heat to low and cook apples for an average of 20-30 minutes. When the skins begin to separate from the pieces, you need to turn off the heat and transfer the mixture to a colander.
The resulting mass must be rubbed with a sieve to a puree and put back on the stove. Next, you need to add a glass of sugar to the puree when it starts to boil. Be sure to grate the carrots and beets to add them after the granulated sugar. The resulting mixture should be thoroughly mixed and put on low heat. The remaining sugar can be added when the jam starts to thicken. It must be constantly stirred and cooked for a total of about 2 hours. If you cook longer, you risk getting a very thick mass.
At the end of cooking, remove the apple jam from the heat and decompose it in pre-sterilized jars. Then cover them with a napkin and wait for the jam to cool and cover with cling film. After that, you need to sprinkle a little jam with sugar and canned jars. As you can see, making apple jam at home is not difficult and requires only a little time and some ingredients that are in almost every home.
