If you feel trampled on, learn these simple truths and they will help you move on.
Mark Twain said, “The two most important days in a person’s life are the day they are born and the day they understand why.” But if we do not know our purpose, then how can we live by pretending that we have it?
Today we offer you the advice of practicing psychologist Shannon Kaiser. She used to build a career in the advertising business but eventually realized that it did not bring her pleasure, so she started writing books, which made her feel happy. In addition, she conducts psychological training and counseling on happiness – how to become a happy person, regardless of the conditions.
So, Shannon Keiser’s story is this:
“I felt depressed for a few years, all because I didn’t know what I really wanted, and then I got depressed. However, now I enjoy helping people find happiness. I have a purpose in life that guides me.
If you feel that you have sunk to the bottom, it means that it is time to change your life. As I lived each day, I learned a lot about what it really means to be happy and what it takes to feel it.
So, if you feel that you are trampling on the ground, learn these simple truths and they will help you move on.
1. Everything in life is interconnected
Everything you have to go through is part of the big plan. When I worked in advertising, I had no idea what my future would be like, and if someone told me then that I would study the industry and everything I knew before would be useful to me in the future, I probably wouldn’t care so much.
You don’t need to know how everything is connected, you just need to believe that everything is just like that.
2. You do not need to understand everything in order to take the next step
Most of us don’t want to move forward because we don’t know if things will work out the way we want them to. When I first left work, I didn’t know what I wanted to do. I just felt like I was doing something wrong.
And once I noticed that I love to write. This is how you, step by step, will come to what the soul lies.
3. Refusal is protection
I had a publisher who ignored my latest book but came back to me a few weeks later and said he wanted to buy it. Sometimes failure is protection, and the door is not open to you just because it is not your door. But when you accept this, a much better door will open before you. Just trust the process.
4. You are exactly where you need to be
I used to feel like I was off schedule, all because I thought I should move on. But when I stopped pushing myself and returned to the idea that everything was fine, my life became more balanced. Stop wasting all your time worrying about where you are not. The truth is that where you are now is exactly where you need to be.
5. You create your reality
You can become whoever you want. There are no quick fixes or magic balls. There are only small, consistent, smart actions that you can do every day and that will create an irresistible impulse. Sometimes you will not see the whole way, but if you create it, you can know what will happen with each step taken.
6. Stop asking “How?” and start believing in your courage
You don’t have to change everything at once. You just need to be brave enough to do a little step by step. And then the day will come when a large-scale transformation will take place.
So instead of asking yourself, “How can I make a difference in my life?”, Ask yourself if you are brave enough to move on without knowing what awaits you.
