Homemade lemonade

Save the whole family from the heat will help a naturally refreshing drink – lemonade. Please do not confuse with stores, which are extremely harmful. It is easy to prepare lemonade at home: take two oranges and two lemons, 1.5 liters of water, and sugar if desired. Wash and boil the fruit, then cut the peel and put everything in a saucepan, then squeeze the fruit juice, then add hot water (bring it to a boil beforehand) and sugar if desired. Allow the drink to dry to room temperature, then place it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

Bread kvass with mint

Kvass contains fermentation products, so at an early age can cause bloating and discomfort. It is necessary to give a little kvass to the child and to watch the reaction.

There are many recipes, but today we will write about one – bread kvass with mint. Ingredients: 3 liters of water, 1 piece of Borodino bread, 10 g of yeast, 3 tbsp. spoons of sugar, 2 tbsp. spoons of finely chopped fresh mint. Break the bread into pieces and pour boiling water. Infuse for 3-4 hours, then strain and add yeast, mint, and sugar. Leave to ferment for 1-2 days.

Mint tea will be no less refreshing and delicious. In fact, mint perfectly quenches thirst, so its leaves can be added to juices, lemonades, teas.

It will not be difficult to prepare the simplest mint drink. You will need 1 liter of water, a bunch of mint, 2 lemons, and sugar. After squeezing the lemon juice, combine it with warm water and add sugar. Grind mint in a blender and add to the drink. Leave to infuse for 30-40 minutes. In principle, the drink is ready to drink, but you can also strain it and add fresh mint leaves.

Apple drink

To cook we need 1 kg of apples, 2 lemons, 1 liter of water, and a little sugar. Cut the apples into thin strips, remove the seeds. In a saucepan add apples, juice, and lemon zest, a little sugar, and pour a liter of boiling water. Stir a couple of times and cook for about 15-20 minutes. Then everything must be filtered through a sieve. Here’s a drink and ready. It can be served cold or at room temperature.

Summer tea with ginger

On a hot summer day, ginger tea can be a real salvation. In addition, ginger is very useful – it has tonic properties that help survive the heat.

We will need a pinch of tea, 1 slice of ginger, 1-2 lemons, a cinnamon stick, a sprig of mint, berries to taste. Pour all the ingredients with hot but not boiling water. Let stand for a few minutes. Serve warm or chilled.

What kind of summer without a milkshake? But store-bought drinks are not trusted, so you should take matters into your own hands. So, one of the simplest milkshake recipes.

We will need 100 g of ice cream, 50 ml of syrup. All this is well beaten with a mixer and the cocktail is ready. This drink will never get bored if you add to it not a simple syrup but beat the ice cream in a mixer with orange, pear, or apple juice. You can experiment with juices as much as you want because in summer there is such a huge number of berries, fruits, and vegetables.

Ideally, traditional fruit juice is made from cranberries or cranberries, but now you can often find fruit drinks from other berries: gooseberries, red and black currants, raspberries. We suggest starting with the basics – cranberry juice, others are prepared by analogy.

We need 2 liters of water, a glass of cranberries, sugar. Crush the cranberries, strain the juice. Pour 2 liters of water over the crumbs and cook for 10 minutes, gradually adding sugar to taste.
